If you’re a financial advisor, this is the best way for you to get started with pocket plan so that you can grow your practice and build your brand. Now, in this video, you’re going to learn how you can use pocket plan as a tool to scale your practice and to save more time with your business development.
This tool is great for gathering information from your clients and using that information in order to Qualify the value of a relationship. So in this video you’ll learn some of the key features of pocket plan and how you can leverage those in order to grow your business. Now in order to get started with pocket plan, you’ll need to create an account and to verify that account.
I presume that you already have done that. So let’s just jump in with once you have created that account, we’re going to log in and to access the, uh, advisor portal. So the first thing that we’ll do is we’re We will come into the account itself. You’ll notice that on the left hand side, you only have five different options.
We try to keep it rather simple for you so that you can focus on what matters. Now you’ll have your advisor dashboard, which is a summary of all of your activity with within pocket plan, including the accounts that you’ve connected with, the clients that you’ve connected with and the value of any assets that they’ve added.
So this is a great snapshot of what. Your, uh, prospects look like you can see their financial value. You can see their accounts, their assets, and their net worth. And so this allows you to quickly and easily get a sense of what sources have been working for you. Maybe your podcast has more downloads and so you’re seeing more people come in, uh, maybe your book’s doing well.
You’ll see that there Or if you just have referral sources, you can track all of that information in pocket plan. And this is going to give you a holistic view of your marketing progress by channel. So you can actually measure what matters. Now, within each of these, you’re going to be able to click into an individual account.
On the left hand side and you’ll be able to see the client or the prospects information, a pocket plan is going to allow you to view that client’s financial standing. So any accounts that they’ve connected, you’ll be able to see those accounts, but then you’ll also be able to see. what the value, the transactions, uh, their individual investment holdings, they’re all listed there for you.
So pocket plans broken down into a few different components. You have the financial information or, uh, the overview of their connected accounts, the assets and their liabilities. You’ll also have their financial reports. So, uh, cashflow report, net worth report, Investments and then you can print any report that you want.
And then finally we have the Monte Carlo similar simulator Called my plan. So this is going to give you a quick overview of the financial standing It’s like a digital fact finder for many advisors where they’re able to get the client’s information in a single snapshot and then qualify the value of that relationship in a way that is meaningful for them here.
You see their net worth report, this is their cashflow report or their budget. And then, uh, we also have their investment report as well. If you want, you just click, uh, download and this is going to generate a PDF for you that you can save to your desktop or you can print out. And this is going to allow you to gather all of the essential information in a single snapshot so that you understand what the opportunity is with this client.
And so here you have a professional cover, you have their budget, and then you have their net worth as well as their investments all listed out. And this should allow you to have a productive conversation with that prospect so that you can make suggestions to help them to reach their financial goals.
So your, Desktop here is going to show you all of your clients that you’ve connected with and then you also have the ability to look at Any scenarios that they’ve shared with you So if they’ve told you that they have a financial goal that they’re working on you can see the progress of that goal using this Monte Carlo simulator and that’s going to allow you to determine where they are with that goal And where you may be able to add some value.
So this is what happens once you have a client connect to a pocket plan and they have connected their accounts. You have some very valuable information that you can take action on. It’s all organized in a way that’s easy for you to understand, to present and to have a productive conversation. What you’ll want to do though, in order to get clients to connect to you is to create a link.
And this link, it can be any marketing source that you have that is going to help to generate clients. So if you have a YouTube channel, you should create a YouTube link. If you have a podcast, create a podcast link. If you have a referral, create a referral link. Each of those links can be, uh, sent out to those channels and either as a QR code, you could email them directly, or you can, um, set them up in different ways.
Anytime that somebody can click that link, it will be tracked back to your pocket plan and that channel will be tagged so that you know, where these clients are coming from and how productive the marketing efforts have been within those channels or those categories. So in this case, let’s just say that we call this, YouTube, what we’ll do is we will copy the link here, that link is going to be copied and then we could drop it into our YouTube channel, uh, directly there.
Um, if you already have a duplicate, then it’ll show there. Let’s say instead of YouTube, we have a rumble. We’re going to just track how well rumble is doing for us. We go ahead and uh, type that in. copy link, that link now is directly tied to your profile. And so any, anyone who comes through that is going to be directly connected with you and they’re going to be able to share their pocket plan directly with you.
So when anyone connects to you, They are going to be listed here in your dashboard. You would see the sources on this page and, the number of people who have connected through those sources. So this is a really quick way for you to scale your business and for you to get great information from your clients so that you can qualify the value of the relationship and to help them to reach their financial goals faster.
At any point, if you have any questions, you can submit them through the help section, and in this, we just ask for your email address and, uh, an overview of what you’re looking for.
